Gran Bahia Principe Akumal/Tulum/Coba - POST HERE!

I think the person you were talking about the disco was already reserved for the day of the wedding so they had a outside reception instead. Don't keep second guessing your plans do what you want and it will all work out!

Ok. I just spent the last part of my Saturday night going through all 55 pages (well, actually I started at page 6, so 49 pages!) and I can't find what I'm talking about, so I guess disregard what I posted about the disco. I've done so much research I guess I don't remember where I saw what. Must start taking notes!!

Nope, you are actually correct. You cannot go to the Disco on Thursdays unless you buy the $16 per person ticket to the fiesta that they have. It really stunk for us because we wanted to go there after our rehearsal dinner. Bummer. Oh well.

As for the ceremony script, if it is a legal wedding you CANNOT change the wording... or at least that is what I was told.

I know there was one other thing I could answer... dang it! Oh yeah! We had a bunch of guests that left on Saturday. It kind of stunk, but it was their decision. The private poolside reception actually ends at 10:30, so rather than going out afterwards these people just went to bed. it worked out just fine!

Jazmin told me the private poolside reception was only 2 hours max - did you not start your dinner until 8:30?? We were planning on having ours at 7pm which means we would have to be done by 9pm.

OMG. My computer was having issues all week, but we got our pictures, and I just have to say that Citalli with Claudia Rodriguez Photography was amazing. I am so excited and can't stop going through them! Working on uploading them now. Does anyone know a good site that doesn't shrink them so much?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
