You have to pick for everyone. No getting around it. It sucks because then you just have to pick the most commonly favoured item in each course. For example, I had chosen sea bass. But some don't eat fish, which is fine. But then the WC wanted me to provide her with a list of all the people who wanted chicken instead. Well, I have better things to do than contact 52 people across 3 Canadian provinces to discuss menu options. Everybody in Montreal didn't know what sea bass is, and we're highly suspect of it! Hahahaha. So I have picked nothing with seafood or anything gross like pate or liver (one option had that). I got lucky there are no vegetarians in my group. Boring old chicken it is :(

Hi Ladies I have picked surf and turf for the main for most people and then the ones who prefer fish I have said they are the vegetarians sneaky I know but they didnt want steak.

I am waiting to hear back from Jazmin as she is away at the minute but she didnt tell me what the childrens menu was does anybody know?

Time is flying i cant believe it. We have decided to organise a series of challenges the night before the wedding for a fun evening. Has anybody watched minute to win it? We are doing some games off the program hopefully it will be lots of fun and get all the guests together.

Also we are doing the unforgettable package and I wondered if we are allowed the marichi band before the start of the meal?

Thanks Ladies if anyone is interested in weight loss or improved energy or skin care please feel free to contact me or perhaps you are looking for a new buisness opportunity

I am getting frustrated....

First I was told my ceremony would be at 4pm - now it is switched to 3pm.

Then I was told I could have dinner at 5:30pm, but now it is switched to 6pm.... I really dont want my guests wondering around aimlessly for a long time inbetween the ceremony. UGHHHHH

Any suggestions? :(

Also, wedding coordinator said we cannot have anything symbolic or personal tied into our legal ceremoy because the judge wont allow it. This I dont understand - because why does it matter if we want to do personal vows or have a poem read AFTER the legal stuff in complete?

Thanks,

Kat

I emailed jazmin about having my cousin read a poem and allowing us to do our own vows before the judge officiated everything but I have not yet heard back.

I'm doing the symbollic ceremony because the we wanted to avoid all the hassle of the blood test and arriving early. Some of our guests are limited to the number of days they can stay, so I didnt want the legalities to interfere with that.

So technically, I'm already a married woman!! :) we had our legal ceremony on october 4th at city hall. Now it's just time to party!

I think Jazmin might be on vacation right now, at least from what I was told.

Congrats :)

I bet you are so excited for Mexico!

Does anyone have a copy of what is said during the ceremony and what legal vows are actually done? I'd love an English ceremony but I guess I need to get over it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
