I am assuming there are ATM's on site, can anyone tell me where they are?

I know there is one in the Hacienda, and I want to say in each lobby, but I have never used them so I can't verify.

Is room service included in the AI package?

Only if you have an upgraded room.  If you're club golden, then it's included.

What time do the lobby bars stay open until?

I BELIEVE it's 11.

What time do the bars at the Hacienda stay open until and am I correct in thinking that drinks are included at the Hacienda except the sport's bar? Or is the sports bar the only place to get drinks at the Hacienda?

The dance club is open into the wee hours of the morning, so it's late.  The drinks are all included except the Corona bar (and I have heard rumor that is now included, but I don't know for sure).  You can get drinks at the Corona bar, the sports bar, and the disco.

Last question, i promise... Where is the best nightlife at the resort (besides the disco)? All the other AI I have been to have always had live music with people dancing and stuff later at night, where out of the 3 hotels is the best for this?

There is something different at the lobbies every night.  Coba usually has something fun going on outside the main lobby and Tulum had a dance party (I've never seen that before) one night we were there last by the lobby.  So you're best bet is to check the entertainment wall or with the entertainment staff every night.

Thanks!! :)

Hey everyone

This is my first post. this page has been a big help so far and i know it will be a big help until our wedding.

Me and my fiancee have booked up for our wedding in September 2014 for 43 people from Scotland and one from New Zealand it was a Little stressful booking it but worth it. I have loads and loads of questions but I have over a year to ask them all :)

I will be bringing a Bagpiper with me for my wedding, dose the hotel have any restrictions on bringing outside musicians in for our wedding? and are bagpipes aloud? :)

Thanks in advance :)

Just some details for any of you ladies getting married at the GBP.

I emailed Arricefe Studios back in March about photography rates for our wedding in January.

I FINALLY got a response on Saturday from them.

There are no rates available yet for 2014. Should expect to see the rates in September or October.

And a reminder that they are exclusive to the GBP.

Has anyone else been in contact with Arrecife Studio yet??

I have a friend who is staying at the hotel 10 kms away from the GBP and she is doing the photography for her nieces wedding. She offered to come over to the GBP on a day pass and do my wedding as well.

Has anyone ever had a scenario like this? It states "no professional photographers allowed"

She is just a hobby photographer, so does that mean she could do our photos instead of Arrecife? If we paid the day pass fee for her to be on the resort and attend our wedding that day?

Thanks for any advice!

If she's there on a day pass you have to pay a fee, I believe it's around $800 or something crazy.  And of course, she cannot be from Mexico.  Otherwise a day pass will not allow ANYONE to photograph a wedding unless you pay the fee.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
