Recommended Posts

Thank you very much. I have actually asked if we can have our wedding the 2nd April 2014 now as our family from the UK have all found their flights and 26th march didnt work.

How long did it take for you to receive a reply from the wedding planners?

I made my booking via the travel agents here in Scotland, once I have received the contract back from them and the date etc confirmed I then contacted the hotel.

The hotel do not reply quickly as there priority are weddign takign place that they have now.

I think Canadian brides have gone trought travel agents to for their weddings - Im sure they will reply and can advise you  better than myself.

I'm trying to dig thru the thread to find the answers (cause I know it was mentioned), but I'm not having any luck. So here goes again:

Jazmin just sent me the info sheet to complete. At the bottom, it mentioned the resort photographer and to contact them. For brides that used or are using outside photographers, did you email them before arrival at the resort, or just waited for them to contact you? I don't really want to contact them to tell them I'm not using service, just to hear more restrictions from them. Is it required of me to contact them and cancel their service ahead of time?

I was there in January and got engaged. I knew we were going to get married there so we met with the WC to get an idea of what we would be getting and what there packages were like! She told me that they can't book weddings until the packages for that year come out, and we are planning a 2014 wedding, which means the new packages aren't out yet! She should be getting them by April of this year, so you probably can't set your date until then. Hope this was helpful!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
