Gran Bahia Principe Akumal/Tulum/Coba - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Hey there! I was wondering what the typical cost ends up actually being for these weddings?? We are looking at Tulum and even though there is a package included, it seems with some of the extras, it adds up pretty quickly.. what is average? Thanks!

Not really related to the resort itself, but just wanted your opinions.. I just got some really bad new yesterday from one of my bridesmaid.. she can no longer attend the wedding as she has to start school in September and cannot miss a week in November for my wedding.

My FI is insisting on 3 groomsmen/bestman, and I'm short one bridesmaid. Would you guys suggest that I find someone else or keep the 2 girls? It would look weird in pictures wouldn't it?

Sarah,

I am having my 3 sisters stand up for me in my wedding, while my fiance will only have two of his brothers (and potentially only one).  Ten years from now it's important that you are happy with the people you've selected - you wont even care what your pictures look like.

I am sorry that you got that bad news...but...

I agree with DinaQtobe,

I also have 3 bridesmaids and Aaron has 2 groomsmen confirmed (3rd will know in Feb if he can make it or not).  I think its more important to have the people you want around you on the big day, not to make the pictures look ' balanced'.  Plus...a good photographer can come up with ideas to make the group shots look great!  And...one lucky groomsmen will get to walk up the aisle with 2 beautiful ladies...those pics will be cute too!

Ladies not sure if you have all looked at this link on here - it has full maps of the hotel and golf course which is on the other side of the road.

It also has photos of all the wedding locations

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
