Gran Bahia Principe Akumal/Tulum/Coba - POST HERE!

The WC told me when we met with her that the photographer would be there and I would recieve my 10 free pictures so I think that if I would have asked that they not come she would have let them know, but I am not positive on that

Thanks, that is what we were trying to do was pick ones that you would not have been able to get

I did not pay extra, I gave her this picture and they turned out perfect...

This is kinda a random question.... but I have been struggling trying to find/come up with outfit ideas for our dads so they look nice and still comfortable, and I LOVE what your dad is wearing. Any idea where he got his shirts and pants???

AND you look beautiful and your photos made me very happy.... a little over two months until my wedding and I can't wait! Thanks for sharing!

I believe that my mom got his shirt at target, I will double check with her and find out the brand and make sure that is where she got it from, and then he just is wearing dockers which you can get at carsons, kohls or i believe macys.

Thank you, your wedding will be here before you know it and it will be amazing I am sure of it

Ok, we were just given a new option by Paloma so its either I say with the 5pm at Akumal Beach, my earlier option for Akumal Beach is 1pm or I can do 4pm at the Tulum Gazebo. Eeek! Decisions decisions....any input as my FI left for work at I won't be able to chat with him till tomorrow night.

My options given to me by my WC are:

a. Change the ceremony to 1pm

b. Change the dinner time to 9:30pm

I feel that a 9:30 dinner is way too late, plus then there is no time for dancing. On the other hand my FI does not like the idea of a 1pm ceremony due to the heat, and the beach being busy.

Any thoughts or solutions?

then yes we did see it! actually we were comenting on how brave you were to get out on the rocks near the water for your photos. We were always down at the little private beach to the left of the wedding site. love the rum coconuts at the beach bar there!!!

Ha!  Yeah, sorry about that Cheryl!  I hope your feet didn't hurt too bad from having to go out on the rocks!

Totally worth it though

As for the beach or the gazebo option.  Hm. Tough decision.  The only thing i don't like about the gazebo is that the guests can't see the water from the seats.  It's very pretty though, and such a lush area for photos afterwards!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
