Any past brides that can post pics of theirs? Maybe they're not as bad as they seem?
Or has anyone felt the same way and gotten one from outside the resort?

Hi, Sunshine!  There is an option to forgo the desert and put another layer of cake instead (no fee).  You can also put flowers on it (that' extra).  I think there was an option to upgrade your cake, but don't remember for sure.  This is how our cake looked (Tres Leche).  We are not big on cakes, but everybody loved the taste of it. (That flower was free.. we did not request any flowers for our cake).

This was our cake from just 2 weeks ago. We gave Eugenia the cake topper and had extra shells and ribbon and told her to use if for something if she could. I was pleased to see that she was able to use it for the cake. We got Vanilla and it was really yummy, our guests just loved it

Crystalz.. we watched a sample from the videographer and decided against it onbly because we have Diego do a trash the dress session with us on a seperate day, plus had him come to the reception. I thought the quality looked pretty good and we would have done it had we not blown our budget on pictures.

I will try to post a couple pictures for you to see how great Diego is...We are really happy with the results

hello Julie! your pictures look very beautiful! I have my wedding at the same location on August 5th, 2011, and I loved the way you had the chairs decorated, and I guess you brought down some fabric also to decorate the gazebo. If you don't mind , could you please send me more pictures where you can see how the chairs are decorated with the sashes, and if you had the gazebo decorated too, how that looks? Also if you did have the gazebo decorated, what type of fabric you used, and how many yards is needed for the gazebo? Thank you so much!

my e-mail is [email protected]

You were a beautiful bride!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
