Danielle, those pics are ace!! I went to Madrid with 2 girlfriends, my bridesmaid couldn't make it & I don't know many girls, mostly blokes!! We had a great time, being a mum of 2 by the time I was 22 meant I haven't been out like that in a long time & it was great to just be me for a weekend! Xx

Ah sounds like you had a great time in Madrid,Bet it was amazing there- It's nice to sometimes have a bit of 'me' time, us girls need that every now and then.

-I don't get to see my friends all together as we are all over the place and busy with our families etc.. but it was truly great to get everyone together be 'Girls' and have such a good laugh xx

Wow.... congratulations to you girls who are getting married soon!  I just realized I only have 2 more months to lose weight....Panic!!!

Saucy Friend - cute cake topper

Danibunny - those pictures are awesome!! How fun!!

All - For my wedding in June, I didn't want the groom and groomsmen to be too hot...so they will wear khaki pants and an off-white short sleeved button down shirt.  It's called a guayabera, it's a Mexican traditional shirt for beach weddings.  My dress is gold/champagne color, so that's why their shirts will be off-white.  I haven't decided yet anything about shoes.  I especially don't know anything about guy's shoes.  I'm pretty sure they can't wear sandals, because there is a dress code for dinner.

Hi Ladies - I know I'm breaking the rules a bit here by not going back to past pages to look but I'm on a tight deadline- (have to decide about this resort by tomorrow) - and I'm just wanting to know if outside photographers are allowed
If there's a fee - thats fine- I just want to know if this is an option

Thanks so much!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
