Hey guys,

 

A lot of you have seen my pictures and commented what a great pool-side reception party I had!  I just wanted to send a shout out to DJ Bob who played at the reception.  He came highly recommended and did not disappoint.  We danced the entire 3 hours... it went by in a flash!

Hey girls, I have been lurking on this website for months, but haven't decided on a resort yet.  I am really interested in having my wedding at Gran Bahia Principe.  It looks like a fun resort with a lot of entertainment for my guests and it has good reviews on tripadvisor.  My main concern right now is that the pictures I've seen so far from Arrecife look kinda dark.  I want to have my wedding reception on the beach, with pretty aquamarine blue water in the background.  But so far I've seen only pictures with a rocky beach and dull blue water in the background.

 

Maybe there are different sites I can choose from or I just haven't seen the right pictures?  I hope you can help me out.  I really want to use this resort, but beautiful pictures is why I am choosing Cancun/Riviera Maya for my wedding.

 

I look forward to any advice you can give.

Yay, glad to hear!  He is available for our date, so I am so excited!  Small world, he is originally from Vancouver where we are from!  :)  Just waiting to hear back from Jazmin to confirm we can have the poolside cocktail reception and I am booking him!

Hello Everyone, 

I haven't been on here for a while & I'm still very much a noob!! 

We're hoping to be able to book our holiday/wedding at GBP Tulum sometime over the next few weeks, we're just waiting for some more info from jazmin, photographers, dj's etc before we finally book the day but we're hoping for 9th November 2011. we're expecting around 30-40 guests!

 

I am so excited and stressed at the same time and appreciate all advice offered from previous bride and brides to be!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
