Swong AWESOME pictures!!! How much extra did they charge for the 70 pictures?? And when does the photographer show up...at the wedding site? They are not there to take pictures before hand correct?

If you already make arrangements to book a package (other than the free included with your wedding pkg) then they take TONS more. Nestor took 600 pics of us! When we met with him he had narrowed it down to only show us 160. If we wanted ALL pics it would've cost over $2500! We had originally planned to buy the basic package of 36 for $540. But we ended up wanting 61. He charged us $15/photo and it ended up costing us $750. Plus he said they keep all images for a year and you can buy more if you later decide you want more.

I'm trying to put pics on here from facebook... but it's not working. Do I have to use photobucket or is there a way to use them from other sites??

Thanks! You can purchase a photo package for $560, the photographer will following you the whole day and will give you back 36 pictures, after that is $15 per picture.

I didn't book for a photo package, the photographer was waiting for me at the very beginning of the talking path (where the guests couldn't see you yet), had a few pictures done there, then more along the ceremony. My package comes with 10 free pictures, then it's optional to buy the rest of them :)

Hi guys, We are thinking of bringing our close family friend who is a photographer as our guests to photograph our wedding. Has anyone done this recently or planning to do this, now that the new rules have have been implemented for no outside photographers? If it is our guest will there be any problems? Thanks! Congrats to all the new brides, your photos are amazing!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
