thanks for the info on the flowers and the dj information. i was wondering if someone could send me all the PDF files they ahve since i cant download them yet. that would be great. we finally got everyone to book and now the stress of booking is over and the planning can begin.

Hi Lou,

The resort is absolutely amazing, I stayed at the COBA side but did spend some time at Tulum. They have toe best beach and buffet!! Please try not to worry too much, I've done quite a few all-inclusive kind of vacation down south and the GBP is definitely one of the best resort I've ever been!!

Thanks for that Tlseege & Swong.....like Lou I went on Tripadvisor (hadn't been on there in ages!!) & the last like 10 reviews are terrible!! People being ill, staff rude!! I was nearly crying thinking I had chose the complete wrong resort!! Soo thanks for putting my mind at ease xx

Set your mind at ease! We had 40 guests with us and every single person was absolutely thrilled and amazed with the resort! We have people planning another trip there next year! It exceeded all of our expectations!!

 

Waybuloo, we did a welcome dinner (meet & greet) on the 2nd night we were there and it was a breeze. I contacted my WC well in advance to ask about it and she set the whole thing up at one of the quieter buffets. They even made this cute swan heart thing on our table with place markers and everything! Didn't cost us a thing either. Ours was at the Cozumel buffet in the Premier Lobby. :)

Hi Waybuloo,

How would you like to do your welcome/rehearsal dinner? You can always ask your WC to reserve a section at one of the buffet so everyone can sit close together. It's a bit more work to do an a la cart, I think you can still try and coordinate with your WC, but it's definitely easier to do it at the buffet :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
