NO! She's totally MIA. I just looked back and the last email I received from her was on April 2 regarding chair covers! I had sent like 4 urgent emails with apostille/translation questions I had as well as asking to switch to a symbolic ceremony - totally time sensitive stuff - no response! I finally got desperate and contacted Paloma. She has emailed me twice since I last heard from Jazmin.

Has anyone else heard from Jazmin lately?

To you ladies leaving this week - Yay - have tons of fun :)

I haven't heard from her either! And I don't want to lose out on DJ Bijan...he's telling me it's ok to go ahead and book him but I'm afraid to do so!! I don't have anyone else to contact!

Have a great time ladies!!! Can't wait to hear all about it when you all get back!

I would tell him that you don't feel comfortable making a deposit until you've received the 'ok' from Jazmin or someone at the resort. I know what you mean... they've been okay letting some brides use outside vendors and not others... best to get approval first. Have you tried contacting Paloma?

I did tell him that...2 days ago in hopes that I would have heard from her already!! So I'm going to wait and see what plays out over the weekend hopefully I hear from her soon. I feel like I'm a pain emailing her, I know she's busy but at the same time I need some answers too!

I have never spoken to anyone other then Jazmin...I've seen you talk about Paloma and someone that I can't remember right now but begins with a K?? How did you get in contact with them??

i dealt with karla at coba. she was great...always responded to emails within a day or so.

i'd contact paloma first. i think jazmin is still there. i met a jazmin at our ceremony last week...she said she was karla's assistant for the day but we got married at tulum and stayed at coba. so i assume it's the same person.

they are out running around all day with these weddings and probably not near their computers all day so be patient with them.

First off congratulations!!!! Just curious....did you use the flowers from the resorthuh.gif Was wondering how they turned out. They look amazing in the picutres that Jazmin has sent me. I'm having a hard time picking!!

Also for the chair sashes at the gazebo....did you have white or is it possible to pick different colors?

Thanks ahead for all your help....I'm sure a lot of us will be using you as a sounding board seeing you just got back!

Can't wait to see pictures!!

Thanks!!

For my bouquet I used the resort flowers. It was BR-3B (white roses, lilies and something else). They turned out beautiful, tonnes of compliments on them.
For our bridesmaids bouquets & groom(mans) boutinneries and parents we brought our own silk flowers. Which was a much cheaper option and turned out great. We had a peacock feather theme.

The seats had the white chair sashes. They looked great. To be honest I didn't even think to ask if they had others and I didn't plan to bring any.

We never even saw the gazebo until we walked down the aisle (besides seeing pictures on here). I don't even know if I would of noticed the colour of chair sashes if I hadn't seen a photo afterwards.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
