Tammy I will e-mail you if I hear anything, but I assume Paul will send out another e-mail as soon as Nugget arrives.

Cool thanks Christine. Sarah has been sending me PM's as well, but not sure what her work hours are so I wasn't sure if I would get an update.

I was thinking about you this morning, how are you doing? Do they expect you to be ontime?

Just an FYI if they didn't already know...Most major cities have a Ronald McDonald House near the Children's Hospitals and other major hospitals. They can stay there for less than $20/day. It would probably be a better option than having to rent somewhere.

FI stepmom and dad stayed at the one in Dallas while his little brother was in NICU with spinabifida and other complications. They said it was very nice and the people there were very helpful. I don't recall if they said that food was included or not, but I know they were able to get discounts to lots of places because they were staying at the house.

My prayers are with the three of them. Everything will be fine. My best friend has twin sisters that were born at 6 months. Their waist was the size of her dad's wedding band. Today they are rambunctious eight year olds who you would have never guessed had anything wrong with them. The first couple of years were rough because they had to be on heart monitors but they are still here with us.

Nugget has arrived, and is a Nuggette!

Gwendolyn Ann arrived at 1:53 am today, weighing in at 5 lbs. She is doing VERY well, especially for her gestational age. I haven't talked to Ann yet in person, but got an email from Paul stating that mom & baby are both doing well.

Once I get an update again from Ann we'll know a little more about where they stand in terms of what they need and will keep you up to date.

Thanks so much to everyone for your help during this time. It never ceases to amaze me the bond we all have on this forum... it's just the coolest thing...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
