Oh, gosh. I am so sorry for your loss. sad.gif

I can only imagine that this must be a very difficult time for you.

Hang in there and be strong. I am sur eyou have really supportive people all around you. This will definitely take time and you cannot expect to feel great right away.

Again, my sincerest apologies for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss! It is never an easy thing to go through especially during one of the happiest times of your life! sad.gif My grandmother just passed a couple weeks ago so I have recently gone through it but to lose your father so suddenly and given his huge role in your happy day! It just has to be unbearable! sad.gif I wish I knew what to tell you but just know that time will heal and remember all the good memories will help. Try and think of ways to honor your father at your wedding (there are some ideas on here) and that might help you get through the planning. But if you aren't getting married until next year...maybe take a small break from the planning and mourn and then get back into it. My thoughts are with you! :)

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I don't think anyone's words will ease the hurt during this terrible time. Your father would probably want you to continue with your plans and celebrate love. It's hard to even think about something like a wedding when you are grieving, but I think groups like this one are definitely here for you through this very difficult time. hug2.gif

I am so sorry for your loss - you & your family are in all my thoughts.

With regards to the wedding planning, you do whatever feels right. If you need to step back so you can mourn then do it. If you think that you want to keep planning, also do it. Your father would want only for you to be happy!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
