It will probably come down to how much room I have and how much extra weight I can fit in without going over.

I have done something similar to make sure that no one writes where I want to put the pic. I have several pages made up already, and will make more if I need to. I will also be doing this at the AHR too, so I will need a lot of pages in the end.

Here is a pic of what I did for the pages, although they are all slightly different.

Your book is really cute!!!!!!! BeckyN mentioned about putting a space holder in for the pics. I didn't even think of that :)

If I go for the photobook type thing - where w/ the help of my ex-MOH I am going to make it a scrapbook with the photos of each group and their wish/advice written to us on squares of cardstock or something - I would probably set up a sign like the one below to explain what I want.

I am the most indecisive person i know! UGH!
I was going to put them all on the tables and do the seating plan. I have since decided to for go the seating plan and just have the favors on the guestbook table. Each person will have a little box with their name on it and their favor inside. With them being at the guestbook table, everyone is more likely to stop there for sure.

I'm going to set out plain white business cards and pine point black markers and have a sign that says...

In leu of a guest book, here's something new

take one of the cards provided for you

sign your name and your blessings or wishes

of a long and happy marriage

for the new mr. and mrs.

and then i'm going to scan everyone's card and when i make my photo album i'm going to insert their signature by their picture

But, here's my question...

Do I have this set up at the ceremony site or reception site?

Are you just going to have the typical guestbook at the AHR? If so, you could just leave a page or half a page for each person that was at the DW so they can write a little note, and get those who can't make it to send you a little note that would fit in their spot. Then the people that are going to be at both can sign in both sections.

I am doing the same thing for both DW & AHR, so those going to both will have 2 pages.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
