I fell today - Ouch!

So this morning as I came out of the subway, I noticed an ambulance on the corner and was just taking a quick peek as I walked by. Well, as I turned back around to face forward, the woman walking in front of me either slowed down or stopped walking and I plowed right into her. Not only did I go down, but I took her with me. My bags went flying and I ended up on my back. I twisted my ankle and banging my head on the street. Ouch!!!

A bunch of people stopped to ask if we were ok. As I got up and gathered my stuff, I apologized to the lady I knocked over. Well, she sat there whining and crying. I apologized again. She kept carrying on. So finally (and very NY of me) I yelled at her and told her I was sorry but I didn't do it on purpose and to get over it. Sheesh!!!

My head is fine, but my ankle was bothering me all morning. It's fine now.

Seriously, that woman was just carrying on and being all dramatic. I only stood there for about a minute before I had enough of her. But come on already - stand up and move it along. There's nothing to see here people!!!

LOL!!!

How are you feeling - any bumps & bruises? How's the ankle?

PS - how old was this lady?
Glad I made you laugh. LOL!!! Remind me to tell you about the time I got ran over by a bike messenger. That's a hoot!!!

I'm ok. Thanks for asking.

She was young (late 30's, early 40's.) But what a PITA!!!!

hehe sorry I'm a huge klutz so I find great pleasure in knowing other people are just like me sometimes wink.gif

I kinda imagined her as some old, frail woman! Now I definately see why you were so frustrated with her!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
