i personally will really not miss the planning, all the bullshit and all the drama. i look forward to regaining my life and my free time, and getting some hobbies like taking an asian or french cooking class, or working out more often and start saving money to buy a house in the next few years.

however, i refuse to leave BDW when im married. how else would i procrastinate at work? plus, ive made so many great friends here.

Thats what I though too, but old habits die hard lol :X

I totally feel this giant weight off of my shoulders! So glad wedding planning is over with. However, you definatley move on to new projects.

Here are some of my current ones: getting a new kitty, writing thank you notes, saving up for a new home/budgeting finances, my upcoming birthday (yay!), ect ect!

I'm with Rachel, I'm now obsessing over my pics. I constantly look at my non-professional pictures and my 7 teasers from Juan Carlos. I'm not only obsessed with looking at them, but I am also obsessed with people's reactions and feedback. I need a new hobby.

All great and funny answers. Maybe I'll work more when I'm at work too! LOL! I am a planner in a big way. I always feel like I have to be planning something but yes, we do have our condo that we'll be focusing on this summer, so that should keep me focused.. and pictures! Fun! And helping other people plan their wedding.

YES! I'm not the only one. LOL I feel like a freak and completely self-obsessed!

Steve and I have discussed several times that we need to plan another party but we don't have an excuse right now. We had so much fun planning our co-bachelor party that we want to do it all over again!

I 2nd that! I've even resorted to rearranging the photos in my shutterfly account into albums according to which part of the wedding day they are- before the wedding, the wedding, and after the wedding. I told my DH I did it so that when i get ready to make the photobooks it will be easy to sort thru the photos but it was really just an excuse to go thru all 500+ pics that my guests uploaded.

We already bought a house and we don't plan to have kids so I'm totally bored. My only saving grace is that I'm designing some bridal/BM jewelry for some of the girls on here.

Muahaha I did this too. My excuse was so that when I shared the photos it made sense to others. LOL I also put all our vacation photos in order, including uploading all of our friends pics and fitting them into the timeline with mine. Geez- I think I need a life.

I have a bad feeling that as soon as I get my professional pics, I'm going to go into hiding for a few days so I can stare at them and create Snapfish albums. This isn't going to be good for my health, my job or my marriage. Oh boy, I hope these pics come on a weekend when we don't have anything else going on. LOL!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
