a little bummed about my "something borrowed" veil

I was going to borrow a friend's veil. I was her MOH in January so it was special to me to have a "something borrowed" from her. The veil is beautiful. It was just the style I wanted, but much prettier.

Her mom had her take it to the photographer after the wedding to take more pictures of it. I guess the photographer didn't get enough at the wedding. The photographer lost it.

So now I'm veiless. I can buy a cheap one like I had originally planned. It just won't be as beautiful as the one I was going to borrow.

I really didn't care about the veil at first. But once I saw the beautiful one I was getting to borrow I got excited.

I think they are not sure she lost it. But, they don't really think it was lost on the way there. It was in the bag with the dress. She was retaking pics of the dress & veil. I'm not really sure why.

Hi Morgan - I'd be happy to loan you my veil. It's really, really simple - ivory with an organza border.

Only thing is that you have to get it back to me ASAP so I have it for my last fitting on July 9.

That really sucks, morgan. I just dont understand how the photgrapher could have lost it. Maybe someone her can be so king and let you borrow a veil. I f I had mine already I would have let you borrow it. Or maybe looking on Ebay but buying one would not be "something borrowed"

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
