To contact the coordinator, did you use email or phone?? Did you go through the resort to book or a travel agent?? What is the difference and why did you decide one over the other?? Do they do more than one wedding a day or is it just one wedding per day? Thanks again!!!

Hi, I am Dreams Cabo bride and I used email to contact the WC at the resort and booked my flight and hotel online but you can go through a travel agent that might work better for you if you have a large group (Tammy (host) has her own travel agency do try and contact her she will help you tons with booking your trip but I'm not 2 sure how busy she is these days). I decided to book online just because it had the best prices, I went through selloffvacations.

Some resorts only do 1 wedding per day but I am not 2 sure what the policy is on Dreams Cancun, yor best bet is to email the WC...I think for Dreams Cabo they do up to 2 weddings per day but I could be wrong...ladies any advicehuh.gif

Happy Planning!!!

My travel agent made the initial contact over the phone, then we started to email the coordinator. Sometime soon we are going to try to set up a conference call with us, the wedding coordinator and our travel agent. There is only so much that you can communicate through email.

I usually just go through my TA, but have also emailed claudia the wc at dreams. I will usually ask her a bunch of questions all at once and she always responds to all of them.

I would go through a TA to book your trip, that way you have someone looking out for you and you can usually get a bit of a better price.

Tammy (host) is a TA, you could contact her as well.

Dreams Cabo: I initially emailed all vendors then I followed up with phone calls if necessary or I didn't hear back in enough time.

Travel arrangements were made through a TA, I comparison shopped but nothing compared.

By the way... I added international to the phone bill just as a preventative measure. I don't use it alot but it's worth the $4. per month

Dreams Cancun: They only do 2 weddings a day. My wedding is on a Sunday. According to Claudia they cannot do legal weddings on Sunday so ours is going to be a spiritual one.

I have emailed her. Sometimes it takes her a while to email me back so I have called her several times too.

  • 2 weeks later...

I have been working with Sandra Casillos and when I didn't hear back from my initial emails, I called her. I also emailed the concierge and they all got right on it. I haven't called since. She's sent me flower choices and wedding site choices and menu choices all over email.

Hope this helps.

Laura

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
