I would be sooooooo pissed if that happened to me...what nerve. It sounds so outlandish that you have to second guess whether it's true but as they say truth is stranger than fiction!

FYI if he brought it in Supreme Court of NY you always sue for $2 million. That's just a standard number you throw out. No one ever expects to really get it. All our small car accident cases are sued for $2 million. Its like a joke no one takes that seriously. Jet Blue will give him a settlement to make him go away. They do not want to go to court. They will probably give him X amount of dollars and some free vouchers.

That is so weird. I don't know if it's illegal to allow a passenger onto a flight when he doesn't officially have a seat, but it at the very least should be a violation of jet blue's policy.

I have only flown jet blue once and it was ok, but I always hear such bad stories about them!!

I am wondering if it was a language barrier or something, ya know? Like, why would the pilot ever say the passenger couldn't sit in the jump seat because it was against policy, but he had to sit in the toilet. Ya know? I'd put money on a misunderstanding that went horribly wrong - but we'll see!

I'd say there's got to be something more to the story.

Sorry, but I would not be sitting on a toilet for no one. If the flight attendant needed my seat then he/she would be sitting on my lap or I'd be seating in the jumpseat. Policy or no policy.

Who in their right mind would actually not say excuse me, but did you just tell me to go sit on the toilet while a crew member goes and uses my seat? While I am at it why don't we see if I can fit in an overhead bin or closet? Sure he was on a buddy pass, but come one now...that's beyond ridiculous.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
