I don't mind tracking everyone's weights either - even if you're not officially signed up. let me know (send me a PM) and I can add you to my list and plug your numbers in along with everyone else. and you wouldn't have to send me a picture, just a # every week. up to you!

Girls, I have been so good all week with eating and exercising, I got on the scale yesterday and am so discouraged, I gained weight. And of course today DH decides we need a cheat day! I probably wouldn't have even participated, but because of the scale yesterday I'm so depressed that I ate pizza and ice cream!

DH says it doesn't matter what the scale says he can tell I've lost, but its so discouraging. I think I'm going to have to switch to just cardio for awhile to get the scale moving otherwise I'm going to get totally discouraged.

don't you hate that?! i think the scale is lying on those days. esp. if you've been so good. remember, tho, that it's not necessarily what the scale says - it's how YOU feel...are your clothes any looser? do you feel healthier?

btw, dh (who is normally a health nut and is paranoid that he'll end up like his parents, who are obese) says that studies show a 'cheat day' is good once a week or every other week to keep your metabolism working, and to prevent a shock to your system when you do eat something unhealthy. i usually make my cheat day the day i get weighed, but not till after weighing in. there's still a difference between a cheat day, and making unhealthy choices.

on my cheat day, i'll come home from ww and have a spoonful of peanut butter, open a bottle of wine, and eat something like mac and cheese or pizza for dinner.

an unhealthy choice would be like eating a piece of cake at a birthday party...not a killer for a diet, but not the healthiest choice you could make.

to update the biggest loser club, i've offically had 7 cheat days this week. between teacher appreciation week, mother's day, and hosting a dinner at my own house (healthy-ish food, but 3 bottles of wine....), i'm a mess. i have no excuse for my behavior, and i plan to correct it as of tomorrow morning.

Hey Ladies, I was so good this week until today! I went to FML today for mother's day and she was forcing food down our throats. I even had apple pie and icecream for desert! I really need to stop having these cheat days and get some discipline!

since the deadline is already passed to "officially" sign up, you don't need to pay the $15 fee or send pics. but do send me a weight every Wed and I will track it along with everyone else so you can see how you're doing. will that work?

Can I just say how excited I am the weekend is over?!!? It is sooo hard for me to eat healthy on the weekends! I tried, I really tried but we went out to eat every night over the weekend and it was bad. So, thank goodness it's Monday. Back to salads!

We have a weigh in in two days! ugh!

well, I put my favorite jeans on today and they're normally pretty tight and they definetly felt and looked better today. But its so frustrating and the other problem which should probably be in the poop thread, but I feel like I hardly ever go poop, (sorry if that's TMI) so I feel like thats not really good for losing either.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
