Yari, I so feel you girl!! Food may taste good, but it is SO not worth the pain and the depression and wearing the same outfits like "cantwait" mentioned above (bc thats me also)...I have so much nice stuff to wear and its been hanging in my closet for a few years now...I hardly ever dress up anymore like I used to and it stinks bc I feel even worse about myself wearing the same clothes. Everytime you think about eating something you know you shouldn't have, think of your friend who lost 20lbs and think of how great he looks and feels and maybe that will be a great motivator for you. We can do this, I keep trying to tell myself but its like the never ending cycle but I am determined to break this cycle this year. Stay positive. wink.gif

It's hard to stay on track all the times, but when you find you slip-up, don't beat yourself up about it! Then you're going to be feeling down & then you'll slip up again & over & over... well that's what happens to me anyway!

If I eat something I shouldn't have, I remind myself that I shouldn't have done that & then make every effort to eat properly for the rest of the day. And if you try to stay on-track most of the time, a little slip-up here & there isn't as bad as you think it is.

I'm having a horrible time exercising right now. I suffer from migraines that are brought on by changes in the barometric pressure & it's been raining, snowing, & being gross for the past few days so my head is KILLING me! I thought I was gonna pass-out at the gym, but Mat stood behind me (literally!) so I wouldn't fall backwards! lol I probably should have skipped the gym tonight, but other than 9-hole of golf this weekend I did nothing productive!

I have a feeling it's not going to be a very good weigh-in for me either this week....

BUT I'll just have to work harder this week to make up for it!

Tonight, I am going to Subway and eating a nice WW friendly sandwich. I also plan on going to the gym. In fact I was supposed to do this scavenger hunt at Disneyland tonight called Minnie's Moonlight Madness, but I decided going to the gym would benefit me more.

I have an idea girls, I think we should all find a picture of ourselves when we felt we looked good or at least better, ha! And we should carry that picture with us at all times.

I was out with my friends the other night and it seems like all of us are trying to lose weight, but we were talking about it and one of my friends said she found a picture of me and saved it for me (because she knows I'm trying to lose weight) and it was back a few years ago when I was working out like a mad woman and I felt SO MUCH BETTER!! She said she was going to give me the picture for motivation, but of course we got drunk and I forgot. So, I'm going to dig through my pics and find one from that time period and keep it in my purse, I think you girls should too.

I think I might put one on my fridge too!

I sent mine to Ann, but i'm not sure i if that was right or not. Good for you Robyn, 2.6 lbs is great. I'm only down .5lbs, what a crappy weight in. I guess it's good that i at least lost and didn't gain.

I hear Yari and Jill, i have a whole closet of clothes that i no longer fit in and about 1/3 of them have tags on them. How sad, that i didn't even get to wear them. But i'm going to wear them. That's my goal to fit into all those clothes. I know i will need more than one biggest loser to do it. I think i might set a goal for myself, that if i lose 15lbs by mid July i can go shopping. My goal for the wedding in Nov is 30lbs. There's an INC dress that i really want for our trip. I'm trying to use that as motivation too. Plus im going to have to buy some swimsuits soon, that could be ugly if i dont' really start doing better.

goodluck with weigh ins today girls!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
