Funny you mention this... this last week I have either been one extreme or another, either I can keep a damn thing in and am constantly looking for a toilet or not a thing is coming out. Can anyone explain this?

I'd be lying if I said I was doing well. Saturday I went to a babyshower where there was homemade desserts. Horrible to my diet, just horrible! Then I went out this weekend and drank like a fish. Then after a night of boozing I went to the diner where I stuffed my face with a cheeseburger and cheese fries. We are talking a billion calories. Then Sunday I went to a mother's day party and stuffed my face there.

It just keeps getting worse. And the really atrocious part of it all is that I haven't been to the gym since Wednesday. The scale may break when I step on it on wednesday. smile35.gif

I've been checking in on that thread from time to time, I actually bought "whole body cleanse" at the store the other day and started doing that, so I'm hoping it will help. I didn't want to spend the money for the colonix, but who knows if this doesn't help I might be anyway!

I've just never had this problem before, I've always been very regular.

Glenda mentioned a few weeks ago that her nutritionist told her that eating healthy constipates you (something to that effect)

I know I've been trying to not eat too many carbs, so the lack of fiber probably doesn't help too much!

Glenda, get your butt to the gym!!

I had a couple lapses over the weekend, but today I got back on track and I did 4 miles on the treadmill tonight. My back has been bothering me today, so I didn't want to do P90X since there would be a lot of twisting and stretching, so the treadmill was a good option.

And, my stamina and time on the treadmill have really improved, which made me happy because at least I'm seeing progress.

Now if only I can get through the breakfast I have to go to tomorrow!

I've had an alright day today. I barely slept last night (thinking about my poor little cousin Mac at the hospital) so I was pretty tired all day. I walked 4.6 km (around the lake twice) but skipped the gym. I just didn't have any energy!! It took me 40 minutes to walk the 4.6 km (quick enough pace) Does anyone have any idea how long it should take to walk a km?? I actually considered jogging, but it was raining & pretty slippery so I decided to take it easy.

I even said no thanks to chinese food & had wholegrain breaded haddock & rice & veggies for dinner instead! Very proud of myself there too!

I haven't had the best week either. Since work was extra crazy, I ate what was available to me. Not all good things, but I did lots of manual labor so I am hoping that I burned a lot of calories. I did good last night, had El Pollo Loco. Yummy!

This morning I had a skinny vanilla latte and a reduced fat breakfast sandwich without the bacon from Starbucks.

I am heading to the gym in one hour. I am also meeting my trainer.

Tonight I am hosting a dinner party for my girlfriends and it's Mexican night. Ugh...margies and enchiladas.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
