BDW Biggest Loser Season 2 Official CHAT thread...

I'm in the middle, depending on who you look at it.

I'm up almost 4 pounds from last week at my initial weigh in. But, since I packed on about 9 pounds over the weekend, I'm down 5 pounds.

I choose to look at the glass being half full! It's boot camp time for me!

Seems like everyone is having a pretty good first week! Keep up the great work ladies!! smile29.gif

I think that as much as we all want to get big numbers (well, small numbers on the scale... you know what I mean!) there are better ways of gauging your progress during the competition. IMO, how your clothing fits, not being winded when doing physical activity & feeling good overall, are all great indicators of positive progress!! :)

Don't get discouraged by numbers on the scale! Keep up the good work & you'll see results!

I'm doing the online version of WW as well. Let me know if you have any great low point finds! Every time I do WW it works, its just the time in between when I'm stuffing my face that doesn't work so well.

I have over half of the weigh-ins and everyone is doing great.

Once I get all of them, or by tomorrow morning at the latest, I will post the weekly winners and hand out the weekly winner carrot! lol

FYI - I send out an email on Tue. to remind people to send in their weights (other than 1 person who I don't have an email address for). I just use the email address you used to PayPal me, so if you're not getting it, and want to - just let me know what email address to use! Or if you DON'T want the email - just let me know that too.

YAY! This season is off to a great start. Good job everyone!

Wow you guys all did so great today!! I'm down 1 lb..which isn't great but it's better than nothing considering I had a bad eating weekend with Mother's Day cookout. Hope to strive to do better for next week. You guys are good motivators for me. Ok, back to making my chicken caesar salad :)

Jill - congrats on the linen pants!!! smile159.gif That's awesome!!! Have you been taking your measurements? That always helps me when the scale stops moving...

So, I'm down 7 pounds this week. Yup - 7 pounds. I'm super excited as this is the lowest I've weighed in 4 years (when FI and I met), but 7 pounds in 1 week is a bit extreme! eek.gif But I've been approaching this go around differently than I've ever approached a weight loss attempt so it seems to be working. I just hope it's not all water weight, because water weight comes right back! But I probably sweated out 3 pounds after my workout last night.

I just took my measurements and I'm down 3 inches in my bust, 1.5 inches in my waist, and 2 inches in my hip/butt area. Of course the boobs are always the first to go... GRRR.

They say healthy weight loss is about 2 pounds a week, so while I'm excited about this, I'm a bit concerned! But I've been killing myself in my workouts, so I'm glad it wasn't all for nothing! But I'm just going to start psychologically preparing for my inevitable plateau!
Wow! 7 pounds is fantastic!

Great first week everyone! I am down 1.8, which I am very happy about since a few days ago on the scale I was up a couple of pounds and I've been working my butt off!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
