Hi ladies -- My fiance and I plant to have an engagement party this August thrown by my parents. We are kind of doing an island theme with a pig roast, bbq, margaritas, etc... do you guys have any ideas on how to word the "island theme"part of it? We are getting married in Jamaica in the summer of 2009.

Depends on if you want fun wording or formal wording.

If you are looking for something "fun" and "jamaican" here is my blind stab. Forgive the corniness, but I am at work so I am just making this quick....

        One Love

Shed those winter blahs and welcome the summer with us as we celebrate our engagement by bringing the Spirit of Jamaica right here to New Jersey.
We provide the sunshine, sand, and all the frozen drinks you can drink. All you have to do is come dressed in your island finery ready to dance to some Irie tunes. ...
        Blah. blah. blah.

Just a stab in the dark here...

        balh. blah. blah.

i don't know just my shot in the dark...
