I am booked with over 50 people coming to my wedding this November at Dreams and I am nervous! It seems like there is nothing you can do till you get down there. Am I missing something? I have no idea what I supposed to be doing! lol!!! Can anyone help?
Has anyone recently gotten married there? How was it?
    Thanks!

^^ Make sure you're in contact with your WC frequently.
Just email her whatever pops into your head, ideas, etc.
You could always visit the resort beforehand too to check it out.

I plan to get married there as well. When I asked questions and gave details with what I want done I was told the same thing. I am not getting married until next year. But I already planned a trip to go down this October for a long weekend to see actually see the place. Good Luck With everything!

I'm getting married in November too and feel like I should be doing, planning, arranging something! I think it all depends on how much detail you want to go into. If you're going to go all out with centerpieces etc. and you're on a budget, make your own and bring them with. Just keep in touch with the WC regarding colours, themes to see what's available for you to rent. Of course, every little thing has a price when it comes to the extras provided by the resort!

Like the previous poster said - it really depends on how much you want to do/be involved. I am in contact with the WC a couple times a week going back and forth on everything from menus, flowers etc. We are also going for a site visit in September to arrange everything so trying to finalize the stuff for that as well.

What about DIY projects? I am working on my OOT bags now and also my ceremony programs, fans, etc. But if you aren't into DIY then I wouldn't worry too much!

Have you asked the WC to email you their packages as well as their menus and pictures of different areas to have your reception, as a start?

We have our wedding date booked now for Jan 13, 2010 at Dreams and I am so excited!! Unfortunately we don't we going to Dreams prior to the wedding to check it out........hopefully the wedding coordinator there is great. She was very good at getting back to me fast with a date. Any past brides that got married there that have any advice or feedback about the resort and their experience?
