I so-oo feel your pain Christa! We moved a month ago and have been LIVING at Lowes and Home Depot! My DH went to Lowes 7 (yes 7) times one day. It was ridiculous! But, we redid our laundry/mudd room, and our dining room is now painted. We just need furniture to put in it - lol. I'm not sure why he wanted to paint since we don't have a single thing to put in it! I feel like we are just hemorrhaging money, but things are actually getting done, so I can't totally complain. I'm hoping this month slows down just a bit, or we're going to be completely broke!

I was just happy to have more space in the garage...well it didn't last long. Joel went out last night and bought a behemoth of a BBQ. Its still in the box, but when itâ€s all assembled the thing will be 6 feet long!! Seriously look at this thing (note this pic does not show the additional large smoker box he bought as well):

Now we have 2 BBQs…guess I see a Criagslist posting in my future. Boys and their toysmuscle.gif
Hahaha Kris! I just saw that BBQ the other day & was like "wow! gas & charcoal, side by side...sweet...but way too big." Glad we could help!

Ya know, we just syphoned the old gas out, then realized we didn't have any other gas, so we syphoned some out of my motor cycle, put it in the mower, cleaned out the gunk stuck in the blades, cleaned off the spark plug, used the choke & the sucker started right up! It seriously took FOREVER to finish mowing the suddenly over grown lawn. Rafael committed himself to the job though & now it's all taken care of...until next week. Thanks again - total life saver!

We bought our home last year and since it was brand new we thought there wouldn't be much to do. HA! It's never ending. We live less than 2 miles from Home Depot which I actually like going to (plus my ring sparkles like crazy there) but everytime we go it reminds us of something else we can do so we just put it on the list for next time. Right now we are in the middle of finishing our basement and our bathroom, or should I say my bathroom!!! The only thing I have complained about doing was sanding that was awful. Is there anything you guys hated or really loved doing?

Christa, I have house envy of you right now. :) I cannot wait to be in your shoes again! :) I miss that insane home-project obsessed state. I've missed my friend Mr. Lowe's....

And, I really cannot wait to move all our stuff out, then play "kickball" on the ceiling in the middle of the night to pay back those fuckers who live above us. I mean, for real, tiny freaking people like that should never be able to make that much stinking noise when they move around.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
