Are you having your honeymoon at the same resort?

Uggh Morgan 2 more weddings? They are fun but they can become tedious...we just went to one in March and have another one in July (both in Vegas!) and I wanted to say no but I didn't so now we're committed. I know all about that and it definitely cuts into that vacation time!

A cabin sounds nice too, anything to be alone. I'm sure you'll be satisfied in Mexico, after all one can't really complain about being on vacation...lol (it beats being at work!) Brazil is on our list of places to go too, fun!

We are staying at the ROR for 10 days with our familes and friends. When they leave on the Sunday after the wedding, we are leaving too and going to the Sandals Grande Ocho Rios just for 3 days. I really wanted to be able to go somewhere alone and be able to relax by ourselves b/c we won't really be able to do that during the wedding week.

Yep, my brother's wedding in Texas in August & Mike's college roommate's wedding in Ohio in September. We are also both in the wedding party.

Since I moved to North Carolina 4 years ago, I have only planned one vacation that wasn't going home for Christmas or a wedding. Once I leave grad school, all my friends here will dispurse across the country. So that will probably make for a bunch more out of state weddings. Sometimes I think I need to stop making new friends so I can start taking non-wedding vacations. Or at least not be a BM anymore. But, I haven't been to so many places in the US, so I figure that's how I'll see the country. One wedding at a time :) I do RSVP "no" if I'm don't want to go atleast. All these weddings are just people we are close too. And I love shaking it on the dance floor the way you can only get away with at a wedding dance. They may not play Baby got Back, Da Dip, and Rumpshaker in clubs anymore, but it will always be at a wedding dance. And I've got to keep my macarena skills sharp.

OK, I'm done hijacked.gif

That is exactly what I would like to do! Were you able to fly directly from PV to Jamaica? How much was your flight there? Even if I just go for 4 or 5 days, I think it would be special to have an "official" honeymoon. Nick's parents said they wouldn't come to our wedding if we had it in Jamaica (Why? I dont know!) so I still want to fulfill my dream one way or another!!!

we're staying at the same resort for our honeymoon. Our ceremony is at the end of the first week so all our guests will be gone for the honeymoon..... the stragglers I'm sure will understand why we don't want to be around them that week wink.gif

We're staying for two weeks at the same hotel. We won't really get a honeymoon with just the two of us as we already have children whom will be there with us, our youngest is 7 so she stays in the same room as us. Although I have told the two older children that the 7 year old will be staying with them on the wedding night (so we will get one night of honeymoon). :-) Maybe we will go on honeymoon when the youngest is a lot older say about 7 -8 years time :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
