Can we use and outside photographer or do we have to use the one in the package? The last information I received from Riu said no outside vendors. But I thought I read some of you used others. Confusinghuh.gif?

I am getting married at the Santa Fe in July. YES you can hire an outside photographer. You will have to arrange it ahead of time with your WC. You will have to pay a day pass for the photographer. Riu says no outside venors, but you just have to ask, and insist that you want someone else. Sandra was married there, and had an outside photographer.

I completely agree with Sandra. I just got married at the Riu Palace and hired an outside photographer (Bradley Fraser - Cabo Photography). I did have to pay for a day pass ($75.00). We used the photographer who came with the package for pix of the groom while he was getting ready (Bradley was with me). You can check out my pix here wedding Good Luck!

That's a great idea thanks for the advice. Did you really like your Photographer? may I ask were they pricey? Did they also do a video? We are thinking about having it Profesionally video tapped for the party back home afterwards.

I loved my photographer, Gilda Badillo was reliable, professional and she meant business! She took a bunch of pictures and was extremely creative. You should email her and get a quote from her. We didn't do a video, but talk to her about that also.

I loved my photographer as well! Bradley Fraser at Cabo Wedding Photography, Cabo San Lucas, Baja, Cabo Weddings, Los Cabos. He charges $350.00/ hour with a 4 hour minimum ($1400). He was incredible and delivered my pix to the hotel in just a couple of days. You can check out my pix here wedding .

I've heard such good things about Gilda, Juan, and Bradley that I think you are safe with whoever you choose. Good Luck!

P.S I didn't do video either, but I believe Bradley offers it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
