Man the decision on where to go felt like such a gigantic one. I hope the rest are easier.
Congrats. You must be soo excited. The hardest part is now over..on to the fun stuff!!
You'll have to take lots of pics so we all can see what the resort is like :)

Were rates pretty decent for February since the resory will still be fairly new? Our TA was going to look into things but I haven't heard back from him yet.

We are paying $1100 p/per. This includes flights from Seattle, all inclusive at RIU, taxes, and insurance. This is an amazing rate as flights alone from Seattle to Jamaica are $$. I think the resort figures to about $99 each per night.

The one thing to consider is that you can not book your actual wedding until after the resort is open. The RIU planner did say that it may be sooner, but I'm not holding my breath. It's just us 2, so we are flexable and this doesn't bother us.

Congratulations! I know the feeling. I just booked my resort the other day, and now I feel like a huge rock has been lifted off my shoulders.

That's great. You will have to tell me how it goes. I thought of going there but I had already been to Montego Bay and always wanted to go to Negril.
