Do I really need a purse/clutch??

Recommended Posts

I totally had not thought about this until my mom brought it up. I never thought of getting a purse for the wedding day because I didn't think I would really need to carry anything around. But I guess it would be good to carry makeup for some touchups. What else did you put or are planning on putting in your purse for the wedding day?

My wedding is coming up in less than two weeks so I am going crazy over these last minute details!

I know alot of ladies here used/are going to use one. I didn't. I took a make-up bag and put powder, lip gloss, camera, iPod and room keys in it. I just gave it to my WC during the wedding, then one of my BM afterwards.

I agree with Lisa. I do not plan on carrying a purse/clutch. The less I have to worry about the better. I will give a few things to my mom or sis/MOH like lipstick, blotting papers, room key but I really dont see a need or want to carry anything.

This is something that I am wondering about as well. I am sure that my Mom will have a little purse of something with her, so I'll probably just put anything in there. Otherwise we will have the diaper bag with us for our son, and everything can just go in there.

Just be sure to actually get your powder/blotting papers and gloss from who ever is holding it for you. When we left to go take pics....I didn't have my things and we got really sweaty...and I was not able to freshen...yuk!

I got a really really cute one that I love, but I don't know if I will even remember to use it...lol. I just wanted it b/c I LOVE purses, so thought the wedding was a great excuse to buy another one. I definitely don't think you need one, just give your essentials to a BM or your mom to hold.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
