    LOL. She was nuts! This is the place she got married at:

    Oheka Castle

    It is stunning but there is a $12,000 site fee just to get married there. Plates start at $500 a plate. Can you imagine?

      OMG! I'm reading through all these posts and cannot believe how expensive weddings are. We are trying to keep our budget at $20,000 for the wedding only. Meaning we are not including our travel, attire, rings. We are expecting 150 ppl are applying the "worst case scenario" non-guest rate at $55 pp. That is still alot cheaper than having a wedding here in LA. When I began researching venues here, I estimated $70,000 for venue/dinner reception for 250 ppl!

      I tell everyone this when they ask, "why are you doing your wedding in PV"
      Do I look like I can afford a wedding here??
