I am nine years older than my brother and two years older than my sister. I was babysitting them both when I was about 13. So my brother was about 4ish. We lived in an apt (right after my parents divorced). My little brother was in the living room and my sister and I were in the bedroom. He came back and said that some girl wanted to play with him. We were like ok whatever have fun. Then he came back singing the funeral march and we looked at him and said what are you singing?! And he said the little girl taught him. I grabbed him and slammed the bedroom door shut we were so f'n scared. In that same apt, all of us kids were at my Dad's for the weekend and my mom had some friends over. One of the guys walks into the living room and says to my mom " i thought you said the girls were with their dad?" my mom said " they are" He goes " well I just saw a girl walk from the bedroom to the bathroom and shut the door" WTF?! Strange stuff happened there all the freakin' time!

Creepy!! Ghost children make me sad though. Poor things.

They always say little children have stronger senses because they haven't been conditioned like the rest of us to not believe. That being said my grandma says that my 4 yr old cousin talks to an imaginary friend a lot and they don't discourage her to stop. It's very interesting because she says some weird stuff about her "friend" but who knows- children have very active imaginations so she could just being using her creativity. I remember my sister telling us when she was really little that she stomped on a giant rat and blood splattered all over the wall. LOL- too much TV apparently!

I love my laptop (but it gets REALLY hot in the sun). I actually need to get my mom a wirelesss router, it's too much of a pain to bring mine every time I come over. But since I "work" from home I need to (boss doesn't know I just got out of the pool LOL)

My mom (and sister ONCE) have seen spirits here. I say spirits and not ghosts, because they weren't random people. Our first christmas in this house (1992) we were puttign up christmas decorations on the wall behind the couch, standing on the couch adn my mom jumped down startled. She saw the face of my great aunt, who we were very close to and just passed away, flash in front of her. I think she's also seen my grandfather and my other things...she tends not to tell us stuff because we get a little freaked. She tends to be "sensitive" sometimes (several psychichs couldn't read her and told her that it's because of the spririts that are with her will show her the things she needs to see when it's time)...it's a little weird lol

Hmm that would be interesting. I always wanted to be psychic- but then again, I'm not so I could have a totally different perspective if I had the "gift."

I went to a palm reader at Palms in Vegas. My sister, my mom and I all did it together. Funnily enough, the lady said my father has a great psychic power but he doesn't believe. We told him that and he laughed his ass off. We were like see- she knew you weren't a believer. He doesn't believe in any of that stuff though.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
