My Grandmother is psychic. I swear. She will call when one of us gets hurt (we are in Texas she is in Cali) and the first words out of her mouth will be "whats wrong?!" She was an identical twin (her sister has passed) and whenever my Aunt went into labor my Grandmother knew before anyone told her. One time she was already driving there when they called my Great Grandmother to let her know. My Great Grandma said "I know Kathleen just told me" lol. She is a trip. Sometimes, I think I have it because I will think things then they happen. Stupid stuff sometimes, like I will remember something really odd for no apparent reason then need that info that day, or I will buy something really odd at the grocery store then someone will ask me if I have it. A lot of times I know what people are going to say before they say it. I wish I knew how to control it or use it. Maybe I am just reaching for things and everybody does this kind of stuff.. who knows.

Steve is like that. He said that sometimes at work he will get a vision of a person coming through their office door and then they will walk through a little bit later. Or he used to work with the public a lot and he said he would see a face of a person he didn't recognize then later see that person walking into our company. Weird stuff like that. I sometimes will stay something to him and he will be like "I swear to God but I just knew you were about to say that." Its kinda funny sometimes.

My late grandmother was psychic, but hated the gift. She even knew when she was going to die and called my dad up to tell him she loved him and to take care of the family cause she was going to die that night. My dad freaked out and said mom don't worry you are fine and was planning on visiting her the next day. Well it turns out she had a stroke that night and passed.

Oh Yari. That's terrible. Your poor grandma. I always thought I would like to be psychic and use the gift to catch killers. But hte shows that I watch in which they use pyshics to solve crimes, they see the graphic images. Most say it's very sad. I'm not sure if I could handle it- but I guess I don't have to worry about it.

I always thought psychics had a hard time seeing there own future- I mean, wouldn't more be lotto winners. wink.gif

I love reading everyone's stories!

The only weird thing that happened to me specifically is my grandmother who passed away coming to me 3x in a dream. The first time, she called me on the phone and I talked to her as if she was still alive. When I realized it I said,"Wait, aren't you dead?" and she just hung up the phone and I heard the dial tone. I woke up immediately and told my FI. I felt weird all day. Then about a week later she came back in my dream. I was on some sort of vacation and she was following me and my FI..but floating behind us without any legs.. again I woke up freaking out and I told my mom about it. She said she was going to call Portugal and get masses for her but forgot to do it. That was the end of my dreams.. until a few months later I was on vacation in Portugal with my FI. We were in the car with my dad (she's my dad's mom) & older cousin. We passed the place where he bought my g-ma's headstone. He says to our cousin,"Ya know, I had a dream with my mother a few months back." My dad lives in Portugal and I rarely speak to him so this was news to me. Right away I started to freak out but didn't say anything.. i wanted to see if our stories matched. He's like,"She wasn't happy.. she walked into my house, swooped under the table without legs and on the other side was a black figure that was choking her and I tried to save her." I translated that as her being restless.. Both our dreams where around the same time.. I couldn't even sleep that night thinking about her. I started to think, ok, my 1st dream- her first line of communication. my 2nd dream-vacation with FI.. when I found out about my dad's dream. So when I got back to Jersey, I told my mom what was going on. Well, a few weeks later, she comes to my mom in her dreams the same way.. but much more vivid. Her restlessness was because my parents were in the middle of a divorce and she wanted them to work things out. She never got to meet my niece so in my mom's dream, I appeared as my niece. In my mom's dream she asked her what she needed and she told my mom exactly what to do. My mom called me as soon as she woke up with her voice shaking. All day she said she felt drained all day. She was like,"Ok.. I have to do something about this!" So she made her phone calls and all of this went away. I did get one more dream a few weeks later. She appeared to me and I said,"Are you happy now?" She said,"Yes." and went away.. I haven't had a dream about her since.

Knowing my luck.. I'll have one tonight hahahaha

AND I never got along with my grandmother! I think bc we're both cancer and butted heads all the time. I think she knew if she came to me, I'd red-flag it like I did. Her love was my brother..but I think he would've just rolled over in bed like nothing is going on lmao

I agree with you 100% Rach. I've been meaning to share this story with you guys and reading this reminded me of it. Okay - when I was 4 my biological mother was murdered. As I've gotten older I have realized that her spirit is always with me. I have had other experiences of her, but this one was recent and totally amazed me. Many of you know of the drama with my sis. It has been one huge ugly mess. Well, we had to have our house evaluated by a social worker. She came out and did her home inspection. The entire time she was here, my 2 year old son would not leave her alone! My son is usually very timid and NEVER talks to company, acts shy, and it takes him a LONG time to warm up to people. The social worker, me and FI were sitting in the living room discussing our situation and my son was practically climbing on this woman's lap! I was getting embarrased because he wouldn't leave her alone. Several times we had to pick him up and physically remove him from this lady. He has never ever acted like this with anyone, not even my dad or FI's mom. He was TOTALLY loving this woman.

When the lady left my son said to me, "Where'd your mommy go?" I kind of laughed and said, "Mas, she's not my mommy, she is just a lady, she had to go bye bye". He asked again, "Did your mommy leave? Where'd your mommy go?"

As quick as he asked the questions, he stopped. I know that my son asking where she went was my mom's way of letting me know she was here. We have a picture of my mom in our living room, but we have never told my son who she is, or have never mentioned my mom to him. I was so happy after this happened.

Even writing this story gives me tears of joy! I have other stories of her that are totally crazy. I'll have to post them later.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
