DH & I just spent the better part of our day on the couch watching Ghost Hunters on You Tube - the one at the Rolling Hills Asylum was pretty cool because we've been there - one of the scariest places I've ever been, and we didn't even go inside!

Was that the one last night? Okay - why do I always get on and read this thread before I go to bed?

I'll post tomorrow - so I don't get scared and have bad dreams.

.....okay - one more thing...the one last night - the owner said they did lobotomy's there with NO anesthesia! The walls looked all weird like they had splatters on them.....creepy!

Okay - now I'm going to bed!

Yay! A fellow Ghost Hunter. When we were in Philly we made sure to go to Eastern State Penn. I would love to live on the East coast and go to all the places they hunted.
I love this show! My mom and I are ghost obsessed we will call each other during the commercials or we'll sit on the phone and watch together!

Eastern State is GREAT! Being I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia I've been there many times, we actually had to shoot an assignment there in college and I had numerous images with orbs in them. It's a lot more cleaned up now then how it used to be, which kinda sucks because the peeling paint and dirt floors added to the appeal of the place. Next time you're in town you'll have to check out Fort Mifflin, which I do believe they just did an episode there! I can be your tour guide!

Valley Forge is super scary at night.....the cemetery is SUPER spooky even though you aren't supposed to be there at night....but it's just as eery during the day.

Uhh ya! 100 lobotomies in one day! That's horrific! I kept saying it looked like there was blood splatters all over the walls too- specifically in the stretcher room where that girl got dragged across the floor.

Please tell me why she still works there if that really did happen? I wouldn't buy that story, but she had a freakin witness to it. The other girl had to jump on her to stop her from getting dragged. FREAKY!

That was a cleaned up version of Eastern State? I couldn't believe the cells- there was absolutely no light and I think would think that would drive the murders to be more insane.

I loved the story about the dog that got locked up for killing the cat. That was too funny.

My dad wanted to go to Valley Forge- he's a history buff. We all whined so we didn't go. We were bored out of our minds at Gettysburg. It was crazy because it was such a nice serene day and we stood there looking at one of the bloodiest battle grounds.

I wish we could have done the Gettysburg ghost tours! We stayed in Allentown, PA with our friends so we couldn't do it! I was totally bummed.

I think that other girl - the bigger girl, she laughed too much. She was getting on my nerves. She's the one who said she saw a big black form in the doorway.

Yeah - it was like blood splatters! I wish they would have caught some orbs or something on those little things where the lights light up. That would have been cool.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
