Hola Mike, welcome to the Forum. As Claudia's Husband, I hope you would say she is the "best in the region" :)

To answer your question,

I have heard of Winnie, she is in the region. I havent studied her work or know of anybody who has actually used her services though, so I can't vouch for her!

Anyway, good luck getting in touch with her and finding anybody who actually knows about Winnie.

Cheers,

matt

I had my wedding last year on August 2012  in Cancun and I had Winnie Vallejo Photography as my photographer and videographer, I must say that the photography was very beautiful however do not spend your money on their Videography!! I paid for a 9 hour package and I got a 24 minute video! Ridiculous they didnt even take important parts of the wedding like speeches and father and daughter danced. They told me it was not recorded because they ran out of battery. I wasn't satisfied with the video, the contract said " if your not satisfied with your product to send email them asap so they can fix it and send you a new one that satisfies you", I contacted them as the contract said and it took them 5 months to look into it and send another one in which they only added 5 more minutes of 24 minutes they had first send to me.

So no I do not recommend them!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
