I have met a bunch of random "famous" people...I met Tony Danza last year (whom i secretly adore...come on, who didnt love "Who's the Boss") My sister actually ran up and hugged him, his body gaurd pushed my sister and Tony said it was a-okay if she gave him a hug! He was nice.

I waited on Barry Sanders (Lions football player), I have met Jimmy Connors

( I play tennis so this was huge for me!) When we were in Ixtapa, my FI and I met the annoying cousin in "Christmas Vacation"...have no clue what his name is...he was nice. Never met her but did see Jessica Alba in the airport.

My favorite random celebrity sighting was a few years ago when my sister and I were at a reggae concert at the House of Blues and Damian & Julian Marley (yes, Bob Marley's sons) were in the audience.

Turns out they were performing at an outdoor concert in Chicago the next day & were booked at the House of Blues hotel...they found out there was a reggae show that night and decided to watch from the audience. They sent somebody in their crew over to ask my sister and I if we knew a good place to hang out after the show so we ended up driving half of them (the rest followed in another car) to a reggae club in Wrigleyville afterwards. elefant.gif Damian was very nice, laid back & humble.

I knew Abbie would have alot of celeb sightings :)

I've only had walk-bys myself.. I was too chicken to walk up to them and ask for an autograph at the time.. and I always kick myself after..

Barry Pepper (Saving Private Ryan and some other movies)

Scott Speedman (Felicity tv show and Underworld)

Nathan Fillion (Firefly and OLD One Life To Live.. heh)

Actually I think all 3 of those guys are canadians :)

There are SO many movies filmed here in downtown Vancouver and surrounding areas I wish I had seen more celebs.

Oh one more celeb I did actually meet.. Mad Child from the rap group Swollen Members.. we were at a party one time and chatted briefly about the good food :)

My friend used to work at a 5 star hotel here in Vancouver, and she met lots of rock stars and hockey players.. she says all the pro-sports guys are pigs.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
