Crazy anxious! ROR to be

Recommended Posts

Everyones' plans sound so exciting, and I'm only down to two months and still have so much planning to do. I want to thank all of you for some really good ideas. We're getting married on the 21st of June. There will be 36 guest, and we fly out on the 18th. The wedding is schedule for 1pm and dinner at M. Bay at 6, unfortunately that's the time it opens. Then we reserved the Sea Grape for after dinner till 11pm for dancing and drinking. I am lucky enough to have Kate Leigh a fabalous photographer flying out with us to take picture thru out the entire day. He just got his tuxs and our daughter and I will be trying our dresses on this weekend.

Question we're getting married in the beach gazebo, did any of your grooms wear shoes and flip flops?

- We're undecided cause his wearing a white tux/suit.

Izabella and I will be wearing flip flops since our dresses are so long.

For the ladies who have gone and come, did you wear your dress all day long or did you have a second dress? I'm also undecided about getting a second dress. I saw md_ocr's has a second dress and I thought that was a smart idea. Would love to post pics of our plans but don't know how.

Love to see more pics of weddings!!

I have seen pics of guys with shoes, flip flops, and barefoot. Our guys wore shoes b/c frankly I don't know what their feet look like and I didn't want them in all my pics!!

My wedding was at 11 and I kept my dress on all day until I did a TTD session around 4ish. Then I had a short white dress to wear the rest of the night. But I saw tons of brides while I was there that still had their dress on at 11pm.

Happy Planning!

Hi and Welcome!

Our guys will all be in flip flops (our gift to them as I can't stand pics when the shoes aren't matching). However, our guys will be dressed a bit more casually (tan suit for FI, and tan pants w/ white button up for GM). But if they are comfortable with sandal... I think you could defintely do them. But if you are going for a more formal look, shoe shoes might be better.

You know you make a valid point, I think I will skip the seconde dress and wear my ceremony dress all day. Your right we're only going to wear it once, and thanks I think we will go with the sandals. Love you pic your look amazing. Best wishes and good luck in your new adventure.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
