If my wedding is at 5:30p...what time do I schedule my hair/make-up?

Recommended Posts

I don't know what a good time w/ behuh.gif I am the only one getting my hair and make up done and they are coming to me. Pictures will be before the wedding so I am thinking they will start about 3:45 for me...

Here is my photographer timeline that I created and I have no idea how realistic it is. Keep in mind though that I know pictures are important but I don't want a gazillion so I realize that my times maybe be short...but I'm okay w/ that...

If you want to be done and ready for the photographer at 3:30PM, maybe you should start around 12:30PM. This will give you an hour for hair, and hour for makeup and then another hour to relax, get your dress on and have a few drinks. You may want to start a little later depending on how much time you want to have once you're done. But you definitely don't need to start sooner than 12:30PM.

Thanks Jen! I was thinking 12:00ish so that is good. At this point too I don't know where to hair people will come (Dreams or FA) because we won't know until the day before if the imperial suite is booked the night before. If it is then we can't get the suite until around 3:00 maybe a little sooner and if it isn't then we can get it as early as 10:00am that day. So If I have to get ready at dreams then I need to also factor in driving time. But still I think 12:00 - 12:30 would be good....:)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
