Bout instructions

Materials:

-Shells

-Floral wire

-Floral Tape

-Artifical rose leaves

-Starfish

-Ribbon

-Hot Glue Gun

I took the wire and made a loop at one end that fit the end of shell and hot glue them together. Then glue the leaves on to the back by the loop. Take the tape and wrap it around the wire stem that you made all the way up to cover the loop that the shell is glued into. Then glue the starfish to the opening of the shell. Then take the ribbon and wrap around the stem to cover the floral tape.

They were really very simple to make and I hope that these directions are easy to follow. Anyone is welcome to use this idea!

Okay E,

Your stuff looks great! I love the ornaments!! Esp since you are at the end of Nov - perfect timing and great idea! I am impressed that you are going to try that cake! I like it with the turq on the bottom. Kind of reminds me of the ocean with the white above it like clouds.

The Bouts are fabulous! I think the darker one for FI is a great idea!

The luggage tags came out cute too! Great job!!

Great work!
Thank you so much!
Honestly, I think almost everything I am doing myself or at least adding to something we bought. Oh wait, my flip flops for the wedding I am doing nothing too. I think that I am crazy for doing it all, since I don't really have a lot of time to do much of anything usually, but it will make everything that little bit more special!!

It is fun doing the projects and they haven't been that difficult. The biggest project so far has been the invites and there was a lot of paper cutting for that. Especially since I made the folders out of 12X12 paper. That was probably the most time consuming part of it!

Thank you for the compliments too! They mean a lot since I have never really been a creative peron before.

-Invitations (I made the folders from 12x12 card stock, the picture behind the writing was drawn by my FI little cousin based of a pic I gave her of the beach we are getting married on, inserts contain information about wedding, booking & a resort map)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
