I am stepping in to answer some questions, because things are getting out of control with members asking people to email them files. The reason I'm stepping in is that I've had numerous requests from brides who have posted templates to let people know how this forum works because they dont have the time to email everyone who requests the file that doesn't have enough points to download it. Later today, there will be an entire thread posted on the forum with some new rules and clarifications of old rules for all the members to follow since it seems people need to be reminded of how this community operates.

#1 - the person who created this file (and thread) is named Rebecca, not Becky. Her username is Becks. If your name was Jennifer and you hated being called Jenny, how would you feel?

#2 - if you do not have enough points to open the file, the protocol is to bookmark this thread and come back to it to download it when you have accumulated enough points. BDW is a participatory community, which means you have to PARTICIPATE and give back to the community in order to reap the benefits of downloading attachments that so many generous brides have provided. Rebecca, nor any other bride on this site, wants to spend all their time emailing the documents to each and every one of you who do not have enough points to download the document. Each time you download an attachment, it costs you 50 points. Period. If you do not have 50 points, you do not solicit donations for points either. You go and you post and you earn your points fair and square.

In the case when a document is showing up as a read-only file for you when you download it, that means you do not have the same version of the program that the person used to create the document. There is no amount of emailing that will fix or change that.

Rebecca, I just wanted to say sorry if I offended you. I am still new at this, but it is apparent that I need to go back and read how everything works with the points. I have plenty of time so I will bookmark this and come back later. Thank you so much for sharing, and again I'm sorry.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
