Ok, so I've been asking Karina for pics and prices and stuff to set up a budget. She finally sent me these pics. I didn't know if anyone else was planning a private reception/coctail hour.

I thought you might be interested knowing what the spaces look like.

    From Karina -
"Attached please find some samples of our garden areas/terrace areas/ballrooms. All of our locations are pretty much the same, they only vary in location. The location would depend on the guest amount and the gazebo you are assigned to. "

If you were worried about having over 50 guests, obviously this space can accomodate you.

haha, I'm having a Jan wedding, so I think I want an outdoor coctail hour (or 2) and an indoor reception (it might get chilly at night)

I'm getting married in July and am having my reception outside on the Lake Terrace. Here are two pictures sent to me by the hotel:

This is a picture I stole from someone's slideshow, dont remember whose or where I found it, but its one of the other outdoor terraces:

Hope this helps those of you considering doing your reception outside.

I'm not a huge fan of ballrooms, but this one is pretty. Do they do the backlighting like that or is that more $$$?

I really like the last terrace posted- the one that's right on the water. How pretty! The resort looks like they do a great job with the table set ups.

LOL, it's probably more $$, but I do love the way it's set up.

They charge you for all the extras...colored table linnes, center pieces, etc.
