Farting in someone's face? talking about raping a girl who pissed him off? why would your FI want him at your wedding? your special day

The way you describe him, he sounds like a psycho and quite frankly, I would seriously ask my FI why he is friend with someone like that.

You will not enjoy yourself because you'll be concern about this guy's next move and judging from his behavior, he will for sure do something terrible or embarrassing. Why does your FI thinks Randy should be invited?

So yesterday, Dean came to me and said that he has to invite his old co-worker (that I can't stand) to the wedding. Here' Randy:

-He likes to fight and instigates confrontations at bars with strangers
-He has been really rude to my bro and now my bro can't stand him
-We were at a bar once and I was having a little problem with a girl in another party and Randy walked over and farted in her face while she was sitting (I was mortified)
-In a cab ride, he suggested that he wanted to "rape" some girl who pissed him off
-Randy was banned from our X-mas party last year b/c he was embarassing. Dean invited him anyway and midway thru the party Randy had put the You Tube of "2 girls, one cup" on our computer and started inviting our guests to come watch it. this was the last straw.

Months ago when we made our guest lists I thought we were very clear that Randy was not invited. So now Dean feels like he has no say in anything regarding the wedding. On one hand I feel bad because I want him to feel like it is his wedding too, but on the other hand, Randy has no place at our wedding.

        Am I wrong here?
WOW! How old is this guy?

I wouldn't want him there either! he sounds like a real piece of work. The worst part is that he's uncontrollable and unpredictable. I think he's a liability to your wedding and the overall tone that you'd want to create.

He should definitely not be invited to your DW. What a nightmare that would be! And you wouldn't be able to relax at all.

I think it's a great idea to just sit down and list the pro's/con's of inviting him. We had to do that with several people when deciding on inviting them just to our co-bachelor party. I feel awful rating them as people, but it's also important when planning a function to consider how everyone will mesh. That's just my opinion.

Also, i think it's a good idea to think about how Randy will be around your other guests. Our best man is kinda crazy, but he can also be laid back. Well after one to many tequila shots at the swim up bar, he came over to where our group was sitting and pissed his pants while standing next to my dad. We all pointed and laughed, but then when he sat next to my grandpa and pissed them again- I made DH put him to bed. It severly pissed off my grandpa (and who can blame him right? he had piss splattered on him) but forunately our best man apologized the next day and all was well. I can't imagine how this would have played out if he was like this Randy character and didn't give a crap.

Thanks for all this great feedback ladies. I think I agree with a lot of you. I am going to ask him to list pros/cons.

Dean just asked me to lunch (a rarity because of our schedules) so I think he's gotta get something off his chest....

              Wish him luck!!!
