I loved it!!!! That was a great finale, considering we had the writer's strike and everything. Rachel, you're going to love it!

Okay, so I was waiting until most people were able to see the show before really talking about it, but here I go.

 

I was sooooo excited when Derek and Meredith got back together, and I love the way that he left to make things right first.

I love that Cristina listened to what the chief told Erica and is following suit.

I can understand a lot more about Alex now that we know about his past with his mother.

I am sooo proud of George. He finally was able to stand up for himself, and look where it got him! I almost wonder if the chief was waiting for him to stand up for himself, and prove that he has the confidence to be a great surgeon.

 

Okay, so there were a few of my thoughts of the awesome finale!

Oh, I agree I think it was SUCH a great finale. Lately I had been a little tired of Meredith, but I like her again. Her and Derek just have such great chemestry. I did have a wierd feeling that something might happen to Derek on his way back to Meredith (maybe a car accident or something) because it seems that the writers won't let them stay together. Anyway, GREAT, GREAT finale!!!

That would be soooo bad - if somethign happens to Derek while Meredith is waiting for him.

FI was thinking the same thing. Oh now I'm going to be worried about that all summer! LOL!

 

I was VERY surprised that they kept up with the suggestions of Callie and Erika getting together and that they actually kind of did... I almost expected Erika to push her away! Weird.Same with the chief. I half expected his wife to have a boyfriend in her house behind her... glad that didn't happen!

 

And I felt so bad for Izzie when Alex was such a dick to her. SO rude!

At least we kind of know why Alex is always such a jerk. I never saw the story about his Mom coming. Also, I was afraid Bailey was going to get home and find her husband with another woman.

OK. I am so super excited that mereidth and derick got together. I kept saying thru the whoe show "go kiss him! go kiss him!"

 

1- Lexi is ABSOULUTELY in love with George. She thinks she is in love with george, but it' a great story line b/c he used to be in lopve with her sister.

 

2- I love Christina for teaching Lexi - that's what it's all about: helping someone the same way Burke taught her (under diff circumstances)

 

3- I know I will prob get a little slack for this, but i think something bad is going to happen to derick on his way to see rose. in the season opener i am presicting a car crash, something traumatic that is going to keep him from meredith and she is going to have to fight for her man: just like izzy....and bailey....is that a pattern

 

But i love greys!!! i might watch re-runs on abc.com

I've got the first 3 seasons on DVD already. Hmmm, I think my sister stole the them and still has the 3rd season. Maybe I will start watching them from the start and by the time this season comes out, I can maybe just get it in before next season starts!!!

I know what you're saying about something happening to McDreamy, it was the way he was looking at her that made me wonder. Or what if he goes and talks to Rose and decides that Rose is the right person for him even though he's in love with Meredith. Maybe he realizes he's sick of her hot and cold behavior and wants someone to love him and adore him for who he is.

 

Lexi and George would be a strange match, but I think you're right Lexi might have feelings for George.

 

I couldn't help to think what a small role Izzie had on the finale, maybe she's leaving the show after all.

 

I cannot wait till the fall!!!!!!!!

I FINALLY got to watch it. What a busy weekend and I just kept thinking about Grey's being on the DVR. I was finally able to sit down and watch it today. What a great episode.

 

Ok so my theory was not even close. LOL I guess I'm not a genius after all. However, I thought the reasoning behind Rebecca's craziness was a little weak. Some kind of personality disorder? Weird.

 

I was so sad for Alex. I've always liked his character- even when he was being a dick. Not sure why, but I could kinda see that he was a man hurting deep inside- or dark and twisty as Meridith would say.

 

Izzy had a totally short part in the finale. I'm scared- I really like her character. I'd hate to see her leave, but I could very easily seeing the show go on without her. There's a lot of characters on the rise- Lexi, for example, who you can't help but love.

 

Thank GOD Christina is out of her funk. She was starting to annoy me and that was totally not like her character.

 

I wasn't into the lesbian scene. That was too cliche for my taste. It's not shocking anymore. We've seen women kiss on primetime TV many times now.

 

Ok, so I'll stop writing like I'm obsessed or something. LOL
