I gotta say, I've really liked the last 3 episodes. I like that there's humor, there's so much I like about this week's.... Sloan being called a whore and nasty!!! How great was that, Bailey always has some priceless moments!

ABC Suffers From Promophobia

ABC had no problem throwing Isaiah Washington under the bus when "Grey's Anatomy" was doing big ratings -- and they have no problem using him in promos now that the show is in a ratings freefall.

 

Promos for this week's episode feature Isaiah's mug -- and his character is even part of the storyline this week. One problem -- he ain't in it! Isaiah is actually down in New Orleans shooting a new movie with Forest Whitaker.

 

We're told Isaiah is pissed at the show for using his pic, after they 86'd him from the show because of that whole despicable "faggot" thing.

 

Isaiah's rep, Howard Bragman, tells TMZ, "Isaiah has no plans to go back to 'Grey's Anatomy' ... That being said, we were more than a little surprised that ABC used his likeness in a promo for the show, and indeed advanced his character's storyline. Mr. Washington's attorney has contacted the Screen Actors Guild and ABC as to the appropriateness of that action."

 

A rep for ABC could not be reached for comment.

I totally feel the same way. My friend and I were talking about how it's going downhill (not that we won't keep watching it lol). She said their ratings went down after Isaah Washington left. I don't know if it was because of him or that nothing much exciting has gone on. I don't know! They also haven't been showing that many medical cases. All of their cases relate to them personally. It seems like they have gone away from the "medicine" part of the show and are only focusing on who's dating who. I hope something exciting happens for the season finale! When is that by the way?

I didn't realized their ratings were falling, but even though I liked last week's episode I did think Isaiah could possibly be returning. I can't believe they used his picture if he didn't approve it. Seems like there's a lot of bitterness there. We'll see how this turns out.

I did think the show was loosing its mojo before the writer's strike and I was concerned to see Addison and Burke go, they really added to the chemistry. But I do like the show better now again. Or maybe it's because I enjoy Addison back and Burke being mentioned... mmmmm

Something is different for me too... I thought maybe it was the writers strike or maybe I have changed... before I lived for Thursday nights... now I am in wedding world. My focus is different.

 

I loved Christina sining, my heart aches for her. She is growing as a character. I think they may be trying to write Izzy off... something is off with her.

It really wouldn't surprise me if they were trying to write Izzy out. Rumor is that she wants off the show so she can focus on movies...

I noticed that they are not giving Izzy much of a story line and all of her stories have been a bit lame.

Katherine HeiglKnocked Up star Katherine Heigl has dismissed reports she is to quit Grey's Anatomy, insisting her Hollywood career comes second to her role in the hit TV show. Hollywood, CA (BANG) - Katherine Heigl is considering leaving hit TV show 'Grey's Anatomy' to concentrate on her film career, it has been claimed.

 

The 29-year-old actress - who has found success in romantic comedies 'Knocked Up' and '27 Dresses' - is said to be keen to end her contract with the medical drama to focus entirely on movies.

 

A source close to the actress said: "She's working really long hours and is ready to move on. She's a smart one. "

 

"She saw what can happen with someone like Jennifer Aniston, who was crazy successful on TV, but can't seem to carry a film, and she tested the waters early."

 

However, Katherine - who made headlines when negotiations for her contract renewal on the show were made public 15 months ago - may be locked into her contract and will have to continue starring as Dr. Isobel Stevens.

 

The source added to Us Weekly magazine: "I don't think she'll be able to get out of it."

 

Katherine can next be seen in romantic comedy 'The Ugly Truth' with Gerard Butler. Since starring as Rachel Green in 'Friends', Jennifer has appeared in a host of films, including 'The Break-Up' and 'Bruce Almighty', but has failed to shake off her TV character.

I personally love Izzy and I hate to see her story lines shortened. It seems as if Grey's is just drifting from that core group and not concentrating on their quirky friendships anymore- you know, like having talks in the coma guys room. LOL I still love the show though and I really wish Addison could come back!

The rumor must be true about Izzie, it would make sense why they are cutting her story lines.
