Why doesn't everybody who wants to do it send me a PM and then i can keep track and make sure everybody has theirs before we start. Let's say everybody try to order it within the next 7-10 days so that if you actually wait 10 days to order, by the time you get it you wont be too far off from the start date that the rest of us plan on. send me your PM by monday if you wanna join in the poop group. haha

I told my mom about this- she has troubles going poo. She told me she hasn't poo'd since last Saturday! Anyways, I want her to do it first and then tell me. I'm too wimpy to be the guinea pig. Maybe I can report her findings to the poo club and be the official "poo note taker."

So I woulnd't really worry about it. Plus it's really clean poo, which is interesting. (I never thought I would be so freely discussing my shit. I make Matt go to the fartherst place in the house from the bathroom when I have to go and most of the time I run the shower too. I have a bashful bowel. hahahaaa)rofl.gif
OK so you don't get the runs with this cleansing stuff? It is just a bigger and better daily poop? Do you usually have the urge at the same time as your normal poop without it? I have a shy pooper too, especially because at work the bathroom is not all that private! I would hate to e going poop and then come out and have a pet detective episode and have to say"Do NOT go in there!" Then go and teach my students! LOL
I would love to do this but am afraid of embarrasment

Count me in on the pooping party! I just read the entire thread and have a lot of the same problems as some of you! IBS issues, either I go a lot and it is gross or I don't poop for a week+! And sometimes Chris listens to my belly because it is "talking" used to be cute - but the noises are coming because my poop is fighting I think! And it is loud sometimes! There must be something living in there! It would be an added bonus to get "regular" and also loose a little weight. I just want to loose the little pouch. Flatten the tummy for bikini season.

Mix that with yoga and I will be buff! Woo HOo!

Where do you buy this Shit! LOL

wow what a thread.

i would love to do this but unfortunately wedding $ is keeping me out of all the extra-curricular activities for a while. no poop-club, no secret-of the month club, no book club sad.gif boo. i bet i can get doug to do it with me later tho, even tho he thinks girls dont poop i bet he would be interested in getting cleansed out!

oh also, for my poop story, a few years ago i had to have a minor surgery on my, um, pooper hole? gross, still embarrasing, anyways, it turns out that some peoples (gosh this is hard to put into delicate terms!) pooper holes, um, wear out? like the band that normally keeps your stuff clenched up into you snaps? that doesn't make a lot of sense, sorry but i forget all the technical terms of it and what it's actually called. but anyways, i started having all this blood when i went and i got really scared, i knew it had to be more than hemmorhoids, and went to the doctor. this was early on in doug and my relationship, how embarrasing! so i had to have some stitches to fix the, um, clencher?

ANYWAYS, the doc told me to start taking Benefiber (completely taste-free and very easy to mix in juice, water, yogurt, cereal, whatever) to make my poops softer and more shiny (wait oops, thats conditioner! wink.gif) to make them fluffier so it wouldn't tear me coming out. it really helped! and once my body got used to it, after a few days, i didnt have uh-oh moments and felt less bloated. i have been thinking about doing some sort of colinix thing, but like i said it'll have to wait till after the wedding. just thought i'd add another poop story to help make everyone feel more comfortable :)

I had my gallbladder taken out several years ago. I was really young too, 22 maybe 23. That was in March then in December they removed my appendix because it had flattened itself out and was starting to wrap around my intestine.

I can totally sympathize with everyone's tummy troubles! I know people thought I was pregnant before my gall bladder was removed. Everything I ate made me so nauseated. I got to the point where the only things I could keep down were jello, popcicles & slushies, and clear fat-free chicken broth. So I was running around with a huge puffy belly, throwing up all the time. Not fun.

I'm interested in doing this for the 30 days, but I leave for my wedding on June 16th. That doesn't give me much time.

To those who have done it before, did you notice any break-outs? Did it effect your daily routine, diet, or exercising? I have this horrible image of doing squats at the gym and something very bad happening! One of FI's football buddies poo-ed himself while lifting weights, so ever since then I get kinda freaked out with work-outs and possible accidents! I also eat a high fiber diet and lots of whole foods.

I am the weirdest pooper ever! I can only go in places where I am completely comfortable. My house, my work, etc. I can't poo at FI's parents' house. Even if I have to go I to hold it! I can't poo around FI. He laughs at my "ceremony". He always knows when I go because he had figured out my routine. I lock the door, light candles, spray the febreeze... I 6.5 years, I've only farted in front of him 3 times. Once I was sleeping, once I was drunk, and once it just slipped out. And I wonder why my tummy is all jacked up!

No runs for me anyway. It was just more consistent. Like while I was on it, 10 am everyday was a definite and then various other times thru out the day. The 10 am is still kinda consistant since I've stopped. Generally, it just regulates you bowels and gets things moving. It doesn't give you diarhhea. Although, if I remember right, I think it says that the first few days of your body getting acclimated might be runnier then usual.

Oh and regarding someone comments on the taste - at first I didn't think it was that bad, but then I came to dread it every morning. The same with the tea. I thought it tasted ok, but then I started to hate it. I dumped the powder into a half full water bottle and shook like crazy and then gulped it all down as quick as possible. Matt likes it mixed with OJ. For the tea, it wasn't so much the taste of the tea as the after-taste. Then again, I don't like drinking hot drinks...

SO are we going to have a poo tally under our tickers?

Are you going to keep stats like in 30 days with 30 members, The Poo Club has had 236,478,541 "movements"?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
