I am on this site to much. I just saw this line "Another thing that I noticed is my BMs are softer with some color mixed together." And it took me a minute to figure it out.. I was thinking what do bridesmaids have to do with anything

my stepmom used to take allergy medications like me (when mine are really bad, i take 3 pills and one inhaler!). after starting doing this a few years ago, she said she had a noticeable reduction in allergy problems and didnt need the pills anymore. she said also that she SWEARS that her undereye circles lessened --which is another reason i am hoping this works for me because i have the worlds worst undereye circles from allergies.

Oh and Maura is right, for me at least. There was no emergencies or accidents, or even near accidents. I travel over 1.5 hours to work in the morning and one morning i made the mistake of drinking my fiber at home and my the time I got to work, I really had to go to the bathroom and was a little crampy, but I shouldn't've drank it knowing I was going to have to take a dump! So I woulnd't really worry about it. Plus it's really clean poo, which is interesting. (I never thought I would be so freely discussing my shit. I make Matt go to the fartherst place in the house from the bathroom when I have to go and most of the time I run the shower too. I have a bashful bowel. hahahaaa)rofl.gif
hahahha carly, i make jose go away when i poop too.

I read this AWESOME thread on colon cleansing recently. Unfortunately I can't access it from work, but I will edit this post with the link tonight.

Basically a bunch of doctors and nurses and people smarter than me were very opposed to Colonic Cleansing. They said the "unusual" long stringy things that people often see are actually a normal part of your colon which needs to stay in there! In fact, I think one quote that sticks out in my mind was, "Congratulations, you just necrosed the mucosal lining of your colon". I dunno, after reading all that I'm too scared to do it. I'll find and post that link as soon as I get home..

hmm lindsay thats interesting -- i called my doc this morning and asked her opinion on it. she said it was totally healthy and she has a lot of patients who do it several times a year. she did tell me that she has heard of colonix and said it was reputable. she told me that going to a cleansing clinic will do the same job, but will take more of your time, and be slightly messy. she didnt go into great detail about the "messy" part, but it didnt sound nice to me.

Hmmm, well it didn't seem anything unnatural to me when I did it and it did in fact make me feel better and cleaner. Def less bloated. And my stomach hurts all the time, like whenever I eat. All of those stomach problems were less then. Actually, I think they remain less.

I don't know much about these kinds of things, but we as humans don't eat very well (most of us anyway). Our bodies aren't built to handle all the crap that we eat, so it makes sense to me that we might need an occasional cleansing to assist getting rid of the things that our bodies have trouble with.

Like I said, I am not very knowledgable about this, cuz I didn't even do the research. SOmeone on here posted it and I went "oh cool! I could lose the bloated look? iI'll try that!" But I think it was a good thing.

hahhaa carly "lose the bloated look, ill try that!" rofl.gif

i thought that at first too, but then i did a bunch of research, and i never do something that could potentially alter my health a great deal without calling my doctor. thank god she doesnt bill for phone calls!

kat --- i am only going to try the 30 days first. i have a very sensitive digestive system so i want to see how it works for one month before committing to buy 90 days' worth. its not exactly cheap, so i wanna test it out first.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
