Hello girls !

I'm a May 09 bride. I've been on WW for 7 weeks now and lost 15 pounds. The 10% goal is not very far... but I still have 25 more pounds to lose ! good or me I started before getting engaged so... I might make it in time for the dress wink.gif

I had tried it last year already but the meetings are not my thing. Now I do it online and it's much better for me !

My wedding is fast approaching.. Feb 6th. I have been on and off WW for years... and I will tell you all... if you hit your goal weight.. it is worth it to stay and become a lifetime member!! This way you can go to meetings and not pay and STILL get all the 'new info..

For me.. the big difference has been strength training... I have a bad neck and back (from a car accident in 2005) so my chiropractor told me I should go to a personal trainer... to strenght train... But how 'la-tee-da' does that sound... so I didn't want to...

until I got engaged three months ago... 30mins with him 2 times a week has changed my body from trying on size 12-14 wedding dresses to size 8 in 2 1/2 months.. my weight has only decreases 4lbs. I am 5' 3" and 140lbs and fitting into size 6 street clothes. I can eat more than I ever have just being on WW and am excited to say.. through christmas I never gained a pound.. and ate way more than the alloted points on WW. (keeping in mind all food portions in moderation, and no free for all buffets..)

I am so glad I have gone to my personal trainer, with proper nutrition I am getting married at 35 years old on a beach and will probably be in the best shape of my life.. with muscle tone and not just trying to be as low on the weigth scale as possible

I am starting WW again this Saturday (there is no mtg. tonight). I have until April 2010 to get back down to my goal weight (plenty of time) but I know that it works and that I can do it :) I lost 40 lbs. on WW over 3 years ago and have been lazy about tracking points in the last year so some of it has crept back on. My mini goal is to lose enough weight by this April to start trying on dresses! Good luck everyone! :)

I will be a July 2009 bride and trying to lose at least 20lbs before then. I was on Weight Watchers over a year ago and lost a little but started slipping and didn't get back on track. I just need to stay motivated but I am ready to start again!

Help me stay motivated!

Hey there April brides.. i know that we have our planning thread. And i was browsing, is this thread for WW brides only, or can we track our other health plans on here also?!

I have 90days and am trying to stay motivated. I need assistance from friends. Or just someone to vent with that I want to have that cake but can't!

Hi all!! Getting married May 16, 2009. I waited a little too long to get my act together and go back to WW. I have made several good faith attempts to lose weight since my engagement and nothing has worked and sadly, I ended up gaining weight. So I am returning to the one thing that has worked before. I joined last night. I have 60lbs. to be at goal, which I know I will not make by my wedding, but I would like to do what I can to be in the best place possible for my big day.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
