Wow Tracy.  You did a great job planning such a large wedding.  The beach dinner looked fun and casual and was that everyone jumping in the ocean at the end of the wedding?  You too?

You looked beautiful!  Congrats and share your prof pics when you get them.

There are pics from the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and just pics from the whole week.  Sorry they are kind of a mess. I should get my professional photos soon.

Ladies -You are all an inspiration!!!  What beautiful brides and weddings!!!  I haven't been on here much lately since I've been traveling a ton for work, but it's been great when I can pop on for a minute or so to see everyone's details.  Thank you for sharing -it's very helpful.  We are 30 days and counting before we leave for th Ceiba.  Woohoo!!!

Hello ladies! We recently returned from our amazing wedding at Ceiba del Mar and I thought I'd share our awesome photographer's pictures here:) We got married on May 28th, and had 70 guests. Everything was beyond perfect and I plan to write a full review for the best resort ever (some of our guests have already planned a return trip - they loved it SO much!), as well as our rehearsal dinner site (Alux Restaurant) and vendors (Moments that Matter, DJ Doremixx, Euforia, Arpason, MVP Makeup, etc). We couldn't have asked for more perfect people to work with - everything really was out of this world:)

Alexis -you looked gorgeous & what a fantastic wedding you had!  I have to say, some of those pictures are a riot!!!  OMG the one with your buddy hanging from the tree....hahaha!  One thing is for sure, looks like everyone truly enjoyed themselves.

Is there anything that stands out in your mind as a must do for the wedding or in general?

Hey tweets, I tried to send you a PM, but my computer froze and did something weird (so you got a half message that's why).  Anyway, I'm from Ny too and just booked my wedding at ceiba. I'm starting to look for vendor and just wanted to ask who you used and get some recommendations and pricing.

-DJ who did you use and how much? Did you like them? We are looking for someone to really get and keep the party going!

-Lighting for reception area, what did you pick and how much did it cost?

Did you rent a dance floor? If so were you glad you did?

-Mariachi?

Photographer? recommendation, cost?

Hair and makeup? Did you like whoever it was? How much was it? Was the trial included.

And most importantly food recommendations. My fiancee and I are total foodies. I think you said you did a tasting. Are there any dishes you'd recommend getting/not getting, good appetizers/bad appetizers? Did you have their cake? We didn't do a tasting when we were there.

Thanks so much! I am starting from square one right now :)

If anyone else has any tips that would be awesome too!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
