Anyone Getting Married At The Sunset Jamaica Grande In Ocho Rios?

We Jsut Came Back From There And I Would Love To Give A Few Tips Re: The Wedding And The Resort If Anyone Is Interested.

Go On To Dave Biesse.com He Was One Of The Photographers..go Under Denise And George's Wedding..

We Had A Really Great Time However If I Was Going To Pick Again I Probably Would Pick The Riu. (i Originally Tried But The Date Was Not Available)

 

The Wedding Gazebo Over The Water Is Gorgeous.. Location Is Nice.

I Found That They Were Very Vague And Did Not Go Over The Wedding With Us. We Did Not Know The Flow Of The Wedding..

The Sunset Photographers Were Very Rude And The Videographer

Was Worse, He Stepped In Front Of My Parents During The Ceremony And Cut In Front Of A Lot Of People To Do The Video (which We Did Not Ask For) We Did End Up Buying It But Do Not Pay The $400 I Got Him Down To $225

 

As Far As The Pictures Go Mae You You Know What You Want And Get Those Done, I Was Not Prepared And They Took What They Wanted, Many Of Os Kissing And Doing Poses That Were Not Natural.. Kissing Is Fine But Not All Of Them Lol..

 

The Resort Is Nice, The Pools Are Not As Clean As They Should Be. I Had A Great 2 Weeks But Would Not Go Back To This Resort..

 

Have You Look Into The Riu?

We Spoke To Someone On The Flight Home Who Said The Riu Is Beautiful.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
